Its a huge offense to the original version of this classic song, and William Shatner should probably be charged with war crimes or something. Its that bad. Have a listen to the video above and make your own mind up. Just keep the volume down to avoid causing offense to anyone nearby who might hear. The really awful thing is, that this is in fact a track on an album Shatner has released. Thats right, an album. So it means there are more things out there like this. Avoid them.

The McRib, which is ‘dressed’ with onions, pickle slices and barbecue sauce, was introduced nationally in the US in 1982. And just like the Big Mac, the McRib has become a popular McDonald’s offering, despite being made from the bodies of rubbery boneless pigs that have all the muscular poise of a part set jello.

The barbecue without the bones has inspired a cult following. There is a Facebook group called “Bring Back the McRib!!!” There are Twitter tags, where posts range from “Lucky me, the McRib is back” to “If you eat McRibs, you need to re-evaluate what it is you actually want in life.”

Their NLCS triumph was the first postseason series in which the winning team did not have a starter pitch past the fifth inning. The last time these teams played, it was 2004, in a three-game set in Texas. Even in this era of interleague play, that’s the only time the Cardinals and Rangers have met when it meant something.

“The Walking Dead’ is one of those rare television programs that reaches both a core genre fan as well as broad audiences simply looking for a great, character-based story,” said AMC president Charlie Collier. Season 1 of The Walking Dead had an average of 3.5 million viewers per zombie-filled episode.

The tragic death of the popular 33-year-old English Indycar driver, Dan Wheldon, killed in an horrific 15-car crash during the opening moments of Sunday’s Las Vegas 300 has cast a long-shadow of grief over the fans and acquaintances world-wide who appreciated him for more than just being a consummate race car driver. The part time racing car driver was the first English racer to win the Indianapolis 500 in 2005, and then won again this year.

The tragedy has thrown the safety of IndyCar into question, with calls among fans and drivers for the sport to be banned or races called off until better safety measures can be implemented.

But his boss decides that young guys don’t read print catalogues, so Mike finds himself working on the company’s newfangled, girl-y thing called a Web site.

In its review of “Last Man Standing,” the Los Angeles Times said: This “is a case of people who can make situation comedies with their eyes closed making one with their eyes closed.”
